LOCAL REMOVALS (normally on an hourly rate)

Give Allan a call for our hourly rate.

We do have a minimum charge equivalent to 2 hours of the hourly rate.

Time is charged from leaving our depot to returning on completion of the job, however if your move is in Papamoa or Te Puke our charge begins and ends at the Harbour Bridge.  You are welcome to supply extra helpers to assist with the loading and unloading to reduce the time involved.


We are more than happy to quote ‘out of town’ removals – just give Allan a call or email with details.


We are registered with Work and Income for furniture removals.  They require a quote (not an hourly rate) so give us a call and we can supply you with a written quote for them.


Payment is required in full on completion of the job if paying by or cash or cheque.   Alternatively, payment can be made directly into our bank account on the day of the move - an invoice with bank details will be given to you at the end of the job.


Carriers Limited Liability Insurance is held by Get Moved and covers your furniture if the truck is involved in an accident of any kind. It also covers any damage that may be incurred loading or unloading. This is a limited cover of $200,000 per load and carries a $250 excess.

Limited Liability does not cover electrical appliances if they fail to operate at the new address, or items that are already damaged prior to the move. Also items packed by clients are not covered as we have no way of knowing if the packing was adequate.

Should you require FULL COMPREHENSIVE TRANSIT COVER this will need to be arranged and paid for prior to your shift either through your own insurance company or ours.
